Pure Zone

Since early 2020 Covid, and our ability to avoid it, has consumed our lives. It's safe to say that we are all more aware of our surroundings in relation to maintaining distance, the surfaces we touch and our hygiene protocols.

Think about how often we, and our friends, family and colleagues touch the surfaces of our electronic devices (laptops, phones, tablets, gaming console, etc).

Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to reduce the risk of spreading germs, bacteria, viruses (including coronaviruses) when in contact with our laptop, tablet, mobile phone, gaming console and other electronic devices?

Now there is a way! Introducing our new skin finish 'Hexis PureZone' finish.

What is the PureZone film's function?

PureZone film reduces coronavirus viremia by 95% after a contact of 15 minutes, and 99.87% after a contact of one hour. It contains antimicrobial agents that inhibit and neutralise the growth of microbes on its surface killing bacteria and viruses

How does the PureZone film work? Is it safe?

PureZone film contain silver ions which are set free from the top layer when they come in contact with humidity. These reactive ions rapidly block and destroy bacteria, preventing them from multiplying.

The film is harmless and safe on skin when touched.

PureZone - tested to ISO 22196 and ISO 21702 Standards

PureZone is not a new product. PureZone anti-microbial film (tested to ISO 22196 standard) has been around for years. It has previously been used to fight against bacteria that are responsible for gastro, fever, listeriosis, weakened immune defences, UTI and skin infection

In February 2021, however, PureZone film was tested to be effective against a human coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2, which has similarities to Covid-19) and achieved ISO 21702 standard.

What do these ISO test standards mean?

This means that PureZone has been tested, by an independent laboratory, as effective in reducing the viral load and spread of coronaviruses by 99.87% within an hour after the virus lands on its surface.

PureZone Finish helps you keep your staff, students and customers safe

Prior to 2020, introducing PureZone as a finish for our wraps probably would have been considered 'overkill' ; however these days it seems like a logical option to offer our public and corporate/school customers to help keep staff, students and customers safe.

PureZone is currently being used by many government bodies and businesses around Australia, including the WA Government on the Perth transport system and Perth museums.

How Do I know the skin I receive is PureZone protected?

All products finished with PureZone film will be labelled accordingly. The label will usually be printed in a corner of the device so as not to intrude on the overall look of the panel - however it is a condition of purchase that your skin will have the PureZone identification label. Think of it as a way to identify that you are committed to helping stop the spread of covid and to reassure those around you of your commitment.
