PRODUCTION & SHIPPING INFORMATION
All SkinWraps products are made to order in Brisbane, Australia. Please note there are two time frames to consider for every order:
- Production (handling) time – the time it takes us to make your order.
- Shipping (transit) time – the time it takes Australia Post to deliver once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping estimates do not include our production/handling time.
Choosing Express Post does not speed up our production time.
Production & Handling Time
All skins are made to order.
Our standard production/handling time is 3–5 business days.
This handling time covers both our peak (Nov 1st to March 1st) and off-peak times
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Orders placed after 12:00pm Brisbane time (AEST) will be treated as if they were placed on the next business day for production purposes.
Once your order has been produced and packed, it is handed over to Australia Post for delivery.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
Default carrier: Australia Post
We use Australia Post’s parcel services for all domestic orders.
A tracking number will be provided when your order is ready for dispatch.
Estimated Transit Times (after dispatch)
These are typical estimates and can vary based on your location and network delays:
- Standard Post: usually 5–10 business days within Australia.
- Express Post: usually 1–5 business days.
Remote and regional areas may take longer.
These timeframes do not include our 3–5 business day production/handling time.
Christmas Order Cut-Off Date-we cannot guarantee that orders placed after December 10th will arrive in time and therefore encourage customers to take up Express Post to give your order the best possible chance to be delivered by AusPost 'in time for Christmas Day'.
International Shipping
We currently ship to the following international destinations:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Netherlands
- Sweden
- Canada
- Singapore
- New Zealand
Default carrier: Australia Post International services (handed off to your local postal service in the destination country).
A tracking number will be provided when your order is ready for dispatch.
Estimated International Transit Times (after dispatch)
Typical estimates are:
- New Zealand: 7–11 business days (standard) / 3–6 business days (express)
- Singapore: 7–14 business days (standard) / 4–6 business days (express)
- Canada & Europe: 10–20 business days (standard) / 6–9 business days (express)
These are estimates only and can be extended by customs processing or local postal delays.
As with domestic orders, these timeframes do not include our 3–5 business day production/handling time.
International Christmas Order Cut-Off Date-we cannot guarantee that orders placed after November 10th will arrive in time and therefore encourage customers to take up Express Post to give your order the best possible chance to be delivered by AusPost 'in time for Christmas Day'.
International Taxes, Duties & Customs are not included in our prices
Our prices do not include taxes and tariffs.
Customers outside of Australia may be required to pay these fees to customs or as applicable, upon delivery. Charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Important Information about Returned Mail
We will email you, should your order be returned to us for reasons beyond our control such as, but not limited to:
- Uncollected from post office
- Incorrect or Not Known at address
- Delivery refused
If you would like your order to be put back into the post we will require you to pay another lot of postage.
If you decide you no longer want your order and request a refund, we will initiate a refund minus the original postage cost and minus a 20% restocking fee. ** Custom orders (includes custom sized generic laptop panels and skins printed with an image you have supplied at purchase time) cannot be returned nor refunded.
Important Notes
- Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Once your order has been handed to Australia Post, transit times and any delays are outside our control.
- Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the relevant country (Australia for dispatch, and your local country for final delivery).
- For international customers, any customs duties, taxes or import fees charged by your local authorities or postal service are your responsibility.
